FROM THE SEA TO YOUR HOME
The Reef upholstery is in Oceanic fabric: a material made from the recovery of plastic waste found in our seas and on our beaches and by recovering post-consumer plastic bottles destined for landfill. For every 2kg (4 metres) of Oceanic fabric, 1kg of waste is removed from the ocean. A small drop in the mission to clean up both the land and the ocean.
Over 100 plastic bottles recovered from the sea are used for each reef.

REEF IS SUSTAINABLE FROM WITHIN
The attention and research for the most sustainable and innovative materials starts inside Reef.
The internal structure is made up of wood from FSC® certified forests (FSC-C002023) while the padding is made up of two sustainable materials. Polyurethane is in fact derived from the recovery of bulky waste such as sofas and mattresses.
The polyester fiber wadding is made up of at least 70% recycled post-consumer white polyester containers .
