Produced in recycled polypropylene and, for the first time, also in post-consumer recycled plastic material from the recovery of tetrapak-type food packaging.
The fresh design of Ops!, characterized by a sinuous and enveloping profile, is reflected in the innovation of the material that composes it: a new post-consumer recycled material, coming from the recovery of the tetrapak, a material notoriously formed by paper, plastic and aluminum.
Thanks to the use of highly engineered techniques, it has been possible to create a process for the recovery of polylaminate waste such as to create this new post-consumer material. A seat that is attentive to the environment, if you think that to make a chair, 600 cartons of tetrapak-type material are recovered for the version with armrests and as many as 500 cartons for the version without armrests, thus recovering waste materials without sacrificing excellent structural, mechanical and aesthetic qualities.
